Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Astra Stella LLC, doing business as Framewaltz ("Framewaltz," "we," "us"), collects when you use framewaltz.dev (the "Site") and its paid tier, and how that information is used.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the Site and its subscription features:

• Subscription cookie. After you complete checkout, we set an HttpOnly, Secure, signed cookie (sfx_sub) holding a reference to your Stripe subscription. It is not readable by JavaScript on the page, and it is the only cookie we set. Browsing the free demo sets no cookie at all.
• Email address. Stripe collects an email address from you during checkout so it can send receipts and billing notices. We do not ask for, receive, or store a separate email address, and there is no account sign-in.
• Subscription and billing data. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We do not keep our own copy of your subscription status either — on each visit to the paid tool, the Site asks Stripe directly whether the subscription referenced by your cookie is still active.
• Standard technical data. Like most web hosts, our infrastructure (Vercel) may log IP addresses and request metadata for security and operational purposes.

2. How We Use Information

• To determine whether your browser or account has an active paid subscription and to serve (or withhold) paid features accordingly.
• To let Stripe send you billing and renewal notices for an active subscription.
• To detect and prevent abuse of the entitlement system.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or third-party marketing.

3. Third Parties We Share Data With

We rely on the following processors to operate the Site. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription records, including the receipt and billing emails it sends you.
• Vercel — hosting and serverless infrastructure.

We do not share your data with any other third party except as required by law.

4. Cookies

We use one essential cookie, sfx_sub, set only after a completed checkout, to recognise your paid subscription. It is not used for tracking or advertising, and we set no analytics or advertising cookies. Because it is required for the Site's core paid functionality, there is no separate opt-out — declining it will prevent access to paid features.

5. Data Retention

The sfx_sub cookie lives in your browser until it expires or you clear it. Your subscription and billing records are held by Stripe for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to resolve billing disputes and comply with tax/accounting obligations.

6. Your Choices

• You may clear your sfx_sub cookie at any time through your browser settings; doing so signs that browser out of the paid tool. Returning through the link in your Stripe receipt restores access.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us (below). We will honor deletion requests except where we are required to retain billing records by law.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; see the Terms of Service for details.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We use HttpOnly, Secure cookies, signature verification on incoming webhooks, and do not store raw payment card data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
